If one sees the way Hardik has contributed thro' bat and bowl, he is definitely the most valuable player in IPL because even if it is his minor contribution, that has been most crucial for Mumbai Indians in all their wins. And man! Though I definitely do not consider Hardik as a good cricketer with technique, his batting is awesome and somehow though his bowling is average, he has a penchant to take wickets when all other star bowlers fail and thats really a miracle that too in T20 format when all batsmen are in ferocious mood to hit any bowl for six. Might be it is Hardik's daring and carefree attitude which makes him most successful that any other player because nobody expects centuries or 50s from him, but his quickfire 30s and 40s are enough to take the team to a winning position, similarly nobody expects his bowling to be tight or economical or beat the batsmen or deliver a beauty of delivery, but he is sure to take couple of wickets in his spell. Same goes when he plays ODI for India. So, he is definitely more valuable than Russel as the value of player becomes important and crucial if the players contribution helps the team to win. Hope the same way Hardik's contribution helps India win World Cup too.
