Had it been a bilateral series between two warring countries, same could have got cancelled as mark of protest or whatever one defines it. But a World Cup is an international event and no country or party or even ICC should have the right to ask for boycotting some other country just because the two countries are in warring position. National pride is different and a sports event is different that too a World event moment because it is planned and fixed after much preparation. Even if the event would have been in India or Pakistan, at the max, the countries can only ask for shifting of venue considering security and emotions. Terror is not just one country problem and every country is facing that today. The Army, Air Force, Navy, Intelligence, CRPF of every country would be dealing with it as per their routine. The only thing people have to do is have confidence in them and support them. Even in this circumstances, tomorrow anything good is happening in the border, the Army of both countries would be sharing pleasantries and not boycotting seeing each other or hand shaking because that's the protocol and people should always find ways of being good, doing good, be friendly even in the midst of war, sorrow and hatredness.

This was very much expected . This I had been saying since day one . ICC will never ban any particular country , they will simply say - - Its internal matter between India & Pak , why should ICC involve in it ??
India can neither refuse to play against PAK nor they can boycott WC , as there is MEMBERS PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT (MPA) between ICC & all member countries till 2023 .

Reading all these sponsored messages, it appears that 4 some people here, cricket is more important than nations security. Let us say if someone is attacking u at ur workplace & threatening 2 put a bullet into ur head, & uses different people 2 send u the message, would you be playing him/her in a annual sports event/tournament just because the tournament director says these are personal issues to be sorted out between each other or would you give the tournament a miss and plan your next move so that the culprit is caught red handed, with evidence before he actually manages 2 finish u off.? u guys are really silly.. u are talking about participating & winning a game while we may lose focus and lose the war in Kashmir. Shouldn't u guys be focussing on how to isolate the enemy in all international spheres,.. ? Shouldn't u guys be aghast at ICC 4 accepting 2 allow a nation to play while it terrorizes its neighbours at the same time albeit through non state actors?
