well said....dhoni should bat at no. 4 till he retires....thats where india will the get best out of him at this stage of his career...just like sachin was best only as an opener in odis and not of much use in other batting positions...
at the moment and especially with the 3 top batsmen sharma dhawan and kohli in form of their life and scoring centuries at will and also therefore taking up lot of deliveries out the mandatory 300 deliveries in odis....by the time dhoni comes to crease he will not have much deliveries to plan his innings...
pandya shankar kedar jadhav are capable of scoring fast runs even if they come late in the order because they are young and in good shape...
but if dhoni comes at no. 4 he can play a really long innings even though he might not score too much in the first few overs ....similarly at number 4 position the chances of his getting out cheaply are less than the chances of the younger lot getting out if they come in early...
