Gavaskar is a biased and Pieterson was from Delhi so no wonder they will support. Whereas if they were genunine they would surely recommend Sanju Samson in place of Shikar Dhavan. Hope wisdom prevails.

My first preference is Pant still if someone not like him then ofcourse Sanju Samson or Shreyas Iyer can be opted. I am from Kerala and in case my thoughts are biased, then let me recommend Manish Pandey. He is already 29 and he is a better equally better candidate. But I think they may include Vijay Shankar in the playing 11. The problem with him is that he is too much immotional. If he miss a ball, he starts looking at the skies in desperation. That is not confidence. He has to keep his cool as if nothing happened and need to wait for the next ball.

Rishab Pant and Shreyas are his juniors. They took K L Rahul and did not have confidence to send him at 4th position and send Hardik Pandey. Jadhav is a waste and Shankar too. Considering such bias in the team and observations of the greats of Brian Lara and Gautam Gambhir and First century of 102 runs by Sanju Samson and efficient to handle fast bowling and English pitch being ideal for that Sanju Samson is again the fittest person.
I am sorry I still do not agree with you. For me Sanju Samson is the best, come what may.
