I guess Dhoni would like to remind himself how he created exit plan for Sachin, Saurabh, Gautam, Sehwag, Laxman and others. He might still wish to look innocent and despite pathetic strike rate and not so impressive wicket keeping, keep on doing tantrums, to impress emotionally vulnerable Indian cricket fans, the fact is that he has crossed his shelf life as cricketers. Now he should focus to use his popularity to milk money and fame in other areas.

very well said. Dhoni has already past his prime as far as international cricket is concerned... Let him continue to play for CSK in IPL where his more comfortable. He always put more efforts, shows lot of aggression while playing for CSK as compared to when he plays for India.
MSK what you knew in selecting Indian team. Did u played enough cricket in India did u scored or du played anchor innings.
Without anything you r taking about MSD FUTURE. He brought revolution in Indian cricket. Played excellent knoks.

It is not understood why Dhoni should quit now ? Neither he is unfit nor his contributions are below any youngsters. He is still better than his replacements. He is a dedicated to the Cricket as well as the Nation. He is not a greedy person who would like to play for Money. He knows it clearly when he has to retire.

Hehehe couldnt score even a single OVERSEAS century and even 10 half centuries in 10 wc and you still want him ..hehehe

Unless you will try some and not make people scrap goat, when condition are tough sent pant and DK ahead. Then people will tell about his success (he fails even then).
Now that he will build a new narrative for to boost his popularity. Already decorated in Army as Lt.Col., Do country proud: 2 months (media projection is all that is needed). what about those jawans toiling and training hard in for years. They are not considered and given any accolades. this imported celebrity comes in and is well focussed and admired by govt, authorities and ofcourse public and media. After 2 months, reception is awaited. Either back to the team Cricket Or if not team Politics is there...
we all know how much we love dhoni... at the same time he shoud exit gracefully giving chance for youngsters....dhoni now should serve indian public something like joining politics or any other suitable route..

This is what we in our country are used to. sachin tendulkar, Dhoni etc., are all such classic entities. they build up their way to the countries in any position on glorification by popularity and stall the way of others. it is in politics, music or any streams where there is popularity. you wont find this happening in Athelitcs or any other unpopular entities or sports..

The same sentiments were shared when Sunil Gawasakar, Sachin Tendulkar, Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Laxman, Zaheer Khan etc were retired. India is flooded with emotionally vulnerable folks, is clear by such statements that. Dhoni has been great servant of limited over cricket (and not TEST cricket). He will get his dues like all great players of the past. Its time to move on.
