There shouldnt have been a super over required. The better team had lost fewer wickets and should have been declared the worthy Champions. Guess there would be plenty such idiotic rules in the rule book of ICC. Someone should be made to look into such nonsense rules and the same should be rectified before another deserved Champion loses out on a World title. If S. Ravi of India is going to lose his position as a ICC Referee for not spotting the No Ball in a IPL game, the Umpires of the World Cup final should be sacked too. Their blunder caused a winner ending up as a loser. Kane Williamson & his team are definitely the most well mannered team in world cricket today. The grace with which they have accepted losing to England just reaffirms that.
We know you are a gentleman to the core and your team members as well. Most well behaved cricket team in the world and always uphold the value of the spirit of the game. Even our beloved Indian team may lack that quality to the extent upto which you express in words and deeds in the field and off the field. As you know your team had a narrow escape in the semi finals and might have been in Indias way had the rain not interrupted the fluency of the match. Against England you played a superb game but this time luck was in your favour. Definitely counting boundaries to decide the winner is the most stupid way of doing it and counting the less no of wickets lost should have been the right way of doing it. NZ is also a winner and the trophy should have been shared among both the teams. But rules are apllicable to all and if NZ had hit even one more boundary than England then the trophy should have been with NZ.

Pls read as..... Against England you played a superb game but this time luck was NOT in your favour
Dearest Cricket Team of NZ . You have won hearts of billions of people by gracefully handling a complex issue . Cheers ! Forget the cup , Accept our heartfelt " THUMS UP " You are JOINT WINNERS . I request all Cricket Lovers to join this campaign and Declare NZ joint winners
All ICC members are signatory to the rules and just that England was lucky. Its good that New Zealand have not lost the finals. Who would know the rules until it struck u up. I think in some rule book it was also mentioned the winner of toss is the final winner.

It is a tiring game after 100 overs between each teams. Still should have made it to a maximum of 3 super overs till the time one team emerge as a winner after first, second or third super over based on the runs made.
