I think instead of deciding the winner by virtue of boundries, it would have been more appropriate if we have two more super overs, still the game is tied then joint winners or winner of the league stage should be considered.

ICC rule as regards the tied match to add on a Super Over to find out the winner is really a gimmick. I understand that it was anyones game but after the super over tie, the Title should be shared by the two finalist.
Request to ICC to please change the rule of giving the cup to the team which has scored more boundaries. It has no logic. After all both the teams have scored the same runs whether thru boundaries or physically running acroos the pitch. Newzeeland desreve to share the cup with England as the teams have tied up even in super overs. Hard luck NZ
Single Super Over is Okay for a T20 match but for a ODI, it should be atleast 3 overs to be bowled by 3 different bowlers...in line with extra time in Football.
All the byes should be ruled out.
The batsman should not run on the fielding side of the pitch to avert the 'unlucky' boundary availed by Stokes/England in the Super Over.
The Free Hit Concept for a No Ball should be dumped altogether, instead give two runs.
And in case of a tie, which won't happen in all likelihood after 3-over match, a tie-breaker of one over should take place in which, bizzare as it is. only Sixers should be counted as boundary while all ground strokes should be scored by running between the wickets.
Both teams had made equal no of runs in their allotted 50 overs and super over then how come because of a silly rule England were declared winners. Feel sad for Williamson and Co.
ICC is the culprit. strange rules have been formulated without any thought. it should been less wickets than more boundaries as a criteria to declare the winners. ICC , please change the rules. Great game by both the teams. Bit, I feel NZ were unlucky.
Rules are framed before any incident. Such unprecedented situation was not anticipated before. So ICC review all rules and regulations so that this type of situation can be avoided in future
