The basis Rule before going for Super over should have been. 1) IF the Score is tie, then the wicket should have been the criteria. The team who loose less wickets then the opponent and the score is level then the team with least wickets to be declared the winner. 2) If the scores are tied and the wickets lost are same then, Super over. 3) If there is score tie, then again wickets to be considered. Then the result to be declared as Joint winners.
Cups should have been shared between both the teams or the winner should have been decided on the basis of less wickets lost. Or they should have extended the super overs till the time one team makes the maximum out of one over. Counting boundaries and deciding a winner is ridiculous. I have equal respect for both the teams and England should not be balmed for getting this vicotory in their favour. Even NZ should have won it had they hit more boundaries. So as per me both the teams are winners and congratulations to England as well as NZ for winning the world cup !!!
