Participating aging players is not the criteria to win world cup.

Dinesh Kartik did not get a chance to play earlier world cups since Dhoni was much competent WC batsman than him. That do not mean than he should be given a chance just for the sake of doing it. He can be given chances in other international matches than including in world cup. Dhoni already won a world cup for India when he was in his prime form and now since form is deteriorated, he should have opted out of world cup by himself. Kedar Jadav is a very talented players for one dayers, but unfortunately during his prime time he could not get enough of chances. He himself is not sure of his position in the playing 11 and in such confused state of mind he could not perform the way as he was expected. He also crossed his prime age and lacks international exposure. It was a wrong selection. Jadeja was in and out of the playing eleven but while considering his capabilities in fielding (he saves a lot of runs in the field which is not counted) , bowling and batting he should have been given chance for playing all the matches in the tournament. After taking a hatrick, it was suprising Shami was not given a chance afterwards. Had Pant been there from the beginning, he should have done much better. The worst decision was to include Vijay Shankar who do not have any proven track records in international matches overseas or domestic. There are very good young players not given a chance like Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw, Mayanak Agarwal, Sanju Samsun since they are at the right age.

Sanju Samson deserved a place in the World Cup at No.4 as pointed out by the greats like Gautam Gambhir, Brian Lara and Shane Warne.

If manjalekar has an iotta of sincerity he should resign from any international commentators job and take a sanyas. First remove from your mind that you are a great cricketer though you are a son of one. And before shaming others see what is your standing. You belong to a breed of indians who take extra pleasure in demeaning anything indian like your (may be ) guru the supershameless Mr Bhogale who was surprized that how a superior pakistani team could get defeated by not so superior indian team of virat kohali !!!!!!

Totally unwanted comments by Majrekar about Jadeja. Jadeja is a better player than Sanjay Manjrekar in one dayers.
