And 9 out of 10 times will demolish this New Zealand side any day any time. It was a sheer upset or fluke just like 1983 finals when India beat Windies of those times. You can always have such a match where you really can't do much but to forget it asap.
Yes Dhoni position should have been at No5 but Mr Ganguly & Laxman you guys had criticized earlier for Dhoni slow innings. Now you change colours. Everything was Ok. Thats Cricket is all about. Most important in England is Toss & Rain which was both with New Zealand.

Dear Sahu, keep in mind whoever did mistake / did not perform he has to be blame obviously, are you know except good keeping/captaincy (Hats Off to MSD), how much score he did in last 05 yeras (If he didn't batted well in 2019, may he not choosen for WC !)
If Dhoni promoted to bat at no.4/5, he can control/guide in one end the hitters like Pant, Pandya and Jadeja & rotate for runs, Kartik has to come in Dhoni's place for any shootout in last 3-4 overs...

Whether it was 4, 5, or 7, With all his calmness, seniority, experience and the sudden stellar innings played by Jadeja, Dhoni should have certainly tried atleast a few more boundaries in the 33-45 overs, rather than playing too many dot balls and singles and expecting only jadeja to hit the big ones. With all due respect, it was expected of Dhoni and let down 130 crore indians, notwithstanding the hero-worship that exists for him.
Yes I agree. Dhoni should have come at 5 after the fall of Rahuls wicket. He would have stabilized things and would have been the calming influence for Rishabh Pant who was playing well till he played that SHOCKING shot. Hats off to Jadeja for his fighting spirit till the end. His wicket was the main turning point than the wicket of Dhoni. I did not see Dhoni winning alone for india even if the run out did not happen. Kuldeep Yadav was the better option than chahel and kedar jadav should have played in place of dinesh kartik to provide more depth. 3 wicket keepers are not needed for the world cup that really exposes the middle order if top 3 doesnot score. Strong team will never have 3 wicketkeepers in the line up. I still feel that kedar jadav with some unorthodox technique would have played a better hand to tackle spinners. Dinesh karthik consumed 2 balls to reach 6. Anyways now the world cup dream is done. India has to build the strong middle order otherwise same fate will continue if the top order fail. May one among top three should bat at 4. Like Rohit or Virat. Wins are more important than personal records. Great players should deliver in crucial matches. I see some change in the future tours to come. If Dhawan is back, then they should play Virat at four and Rahul at three to stabilize the middle order and then Pant and Hardik Pandya to follow. Actually, selectors will not admit that Rahul, chahal, Kuldeep should not have been picked up for the tour. Rayudu, Ashwin, etc many better options available in India.

India pushed out that great team Pakistan by playing the worst type of cricket & see what happened in the semis. Got kicked out themselves. They deserve it.
