Never underestimate the Kangaroos. They have won it 5 times with thrice on the trot. They still are the best in business. one look at their fitness levels will leave you gasping. besides their strong point is fielding. Their battery of bowlers with Warner and Smith backing as batsmen, we can be assured of a huge total like the one they posted in the 2003 hustings. We may have hit the purple patch, but the future is unknown.
One thing. never be so cock sure of India. You have Australia to contend with. the 5 time winner is no pushover. They are still the best team in the world. They bring out their best on such platforms. Never underestimate them. Winning is still a distance away.
Whatever secrets or magic the rest of the World do, there is no stopping India and its written in the fate that India will win the World Cup. And surely why not, India is the only team who has been serious with the World Cup and has prepared themselves in all departments of the game like batting, bowling, fielding, strategy, captainship, partnership etc. And Virat and team has really worked a lot for it. To beat the rest of teams, India only needs Rohit, Bumrah and Virat, nobody else is required. Its a big insult and shame to the World Cup that none of the other teams have prepared themselves for this event. Even the so called top form England is weak in their strike bowling, fielding and building partnership after fall of 2 wickets. One can't always rely on opening pair to win the match for team. New Zealand is even more pathetic. It looks like only Williamson is playing and nobody else. New Zealand will be defeated cheaply. Its sad for World Cricket that apart of sparkling talent and performance seen from Indian team, cricket fans could not find a single good upcoming talent in any of the cricket team. How we wish young players like Hope, Heytmer, Braithwaite, Archer, Zampa and many others from each teams had sprung up and displayed their talent for the world cricket fans to sit up and watch them play and cherish that cricket will keep producing masters to set the standard of the game.

Well said. However, the big question is if, by virtue of law of averages, both Rohit & Kohli fails? India's middle order is still shaky and it has a long tail in Shami, Chahal, Kuldeep and Bumrhah. The plus point for India is that New Zealand's batting is not as strong as that of England or Australia.

Which law of average....india already lost to england...and goung to crash NZ in semi and followed by beating england ..both by onesidedely...
Its India winning semi finals and finals between India England also India winning. India needs to put things in right perspective and reverse the loss to England in league matches.
They are going through a rough patch but have had enough time to regroup & rethink their strategy. I am sure they will trump India by a big margin. The finals will be NZ Vs Eng.
