Its annoying that Rohit Sharma is talking on confidence of Pant who still played decent innings but doesn't comment on KL Rahul who appeared like a goat among the hungry tigers while batting!!! I would have loved to see KL Rahul in place of Sharma in this media briefing!!

Everyone is talking of manner in which Sharma and Kohli got out but it is a matter of fact the foundation required in first 10 overs for such a big chase was simply not there and India's run rate never was close to asking run rate even when those two were batting. The pressure of this actually forced them to get out....
The way Rohit and virat played after Rahul's exit was as if India was in an irretreivable situation .Both of them forgot about their class and played so badly to score 25 runs in 10 overs.Their caution was unwarranted .In fact, on so many past ocassions rahul failed miserably and both of them carried on to get into match winning situations.This was the main reason why india lost miserably.Both of them are to be held responsible for the loss.Rohit's Ton became utterly useless.Rishab looked like a joker in the snail speed scoring.Chahal and kuldeep's bowling looked innocuous

It's easy to talk about others but what about your role! Just because you reached a century does not excuse your loose shot at a crucial juncture of India's chase. The same goes for Virat. This is a stunted Virat getting off to decent starts and not converting to big scores. In fact both Rohit and Virat were responsible for putting pressure on the team and themselves with their slow start. If you compare with other lesser known teams like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka who started firing on all cylinders when faced with big scores and despite losing wickets. Kohli is also hiding behind Dhoni and not backing players like Kedar Jadhav and others.
