TRY TO STAND ON YOUR OWN FEET & DON'T DEPEND ON OTHERS!
by Nilanjan Sen on Jul 02, 2019 12:37 PM  | Hide replies

The fact that some senior Pakistan players are holding India responsible is really laughable. This smacks of immaturity. You shouldn't depend on others to progress, whether it be Cricket or any other sphere of activity. Your Fate should lie in our own hands. It's like saying if China progesses Pakistan progresses too!

As Swami Vivekananda once said "Men generally lay all the blame of life on their fellowmen, or failing that, on God, or they conjure up a ghost, and say it is fate. Where is fate and who is fate? We reap what we sow. We are the makers of our own fate. None else has the blame, none has the praise. The wind is blowing; those vessels whose sails are unfurled catch it, and go forward on their way, but those who have their sails furled do not catch the wind. Is that the fault of the wind?"

"This misery that I am suffering is of my own doing, and that very thing proves that it will have to be undone by me alone." That which I created, I can demolish; that which is created by someone else, I shall never be able to destroy. Therefore, stand up, be bold, be strong. Take the whole responsibility on your own shoulders, and know that you are the creator of your own destiny. All the strength and succour you want is within yourselves." -Swami Vivekananda

I think this is a good team, but Karthik and Rishabh both will not play. Rahul will open or be in middle order.

Cheteshwar Pujara
by Srinivas R on Jul 01, 2019 02:54 PM  | Hide replies

India should bring in Cheteshwar Pujara due to his tremendous form at no.4 or opening. That is what saved India in Aus for winning the series. He is not a slow scorer as everyone thinks. He can score better than Virat. That way Rahul Dravid should not have been included in the one day team due to his very low scoring rate but he adapted himself so well in one day and could score much faster.

Our team did the best it could and we are with them. Pakistan is talking about Cricket game as such and it looks quite odd that we can talk of Saffron uniform etc. Whoever thought of doing that must be thanked for not bringing in some other allied paraphernalia on cricket ground.
