While the team wants hardik to be present for the team, he is busy as a playboy. it appears he wants a career as a playboy rather than a cricketeer. He needs to focus only on cricket for him to play for the country for a long time.
Hardik's performances so far do not justify the hype surrounding him.He is no Kapil Dev, Botham or Wasim.In fact Kohli's insistence on playing him in England irrespective of the conditions cost the team two matches.Vijaya Sankar is a far better batsman though not as flashy as Pandya.Another all rounder coming up is Shivam Dubey of Mumbai.The selectors should keep them in mind and get over the Pandya obsession.
