Every great player will have these days. In India I remember Sachin, Kapil dev all faced this. If you are not contributing to teams success you must walk away. Just because you love the game you cant take it for granted. Dhoni has not been to that extend. Kapil dev was blocking Srinath to break Hadlee record. Sachin was good enough to play but his 100th 100 was not coming and he was not at his best. So team winning is the only criteria here.
If it has been decided that Dhoni has to be in the Team, in spite of so many young players being available and performing well, the outcome as indicated is Obvious.
