Dhoni played well no doubt. But he was dropped thrice and was clearly out when he was 21. had it not been Kedar Yadav and Kartik's blistering knock , India would have lost both matches. We have cherished Dhoni playing for India but time now to move on. He is too slow to be considered for ODIs. Remember as captain he dropped Dravid and Ganguly for same reason from Odis

Exactly none of the three innings were match winners they were slow. It make nonsence to play Dhoni over Rishab pant.
Just look how LEGENDS like Gavaskar , Sachin & all his team mates hails MSD .
AND WE HAVE FEW IDIOTS FANS & MEDIA who says - - MSD IS USELESS , HE SHOULD RETIRE , HE IS FINISHED , HE MUST BE SACKED - - - etc etc .
SHAME ON SUCH CRITICS .
Now , in future if MSD fails to finish the game OR even if Team India loses any game against any country ( May be even against AFG / Ireland etc ) criticizers should NOT OPEN their mouth .
AS NO PLAYER or TEAM IN THIS WORLD CAN WIN 100 PERCENT GAMES THEY PLAY . They many fail OR lose few . ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS - - -
Team India has WON 23 of last 27 matches they played . SHEER INVINCIBLE - -
Although India won the series. Look at the nervous body language of Indian they all afraid of fast bowling. Lots catch being dropped by Australian and also a run out chance. These are the factor which makes us won the series always the same may not happen. Still remember the 1992world cup in two instance India lost in close marjin one against England other one against Australia.
Though he has played well in the series, he should not take each and every match till the 50th over. But the good thing is he has got his form back. His wicket keeping skills are best

In numbers Dhoni gets man of the series. Thats fine. In the past two matches the key players who did the finishers job were DK and Kedar Jadhav. They were able to break the shackles and helped to bring down the asking rate at the cruicial point, which went up too high durig the final overs. Dhoni only played the second fiddle in both these matches. Give all credit to Dhoni, but do not disrgard these two players. Highlight their contributions as well for the win. Nobody hates Dhoni, but he lost his magic touch. Had it been there, the last two matches might have been finished within 45 overs. The big questions is that the way of taking the game to the end may work all the time, especially in world cup.
