If any other so called great batsman would have been there in the crease, India would have lost the match yesterday. Only because of his experience we won. Why, Kohli should have stayed till end, how he got out with an arrogant shot. If Dhoni would have got out for the ball which he hit six, everybody would have blamed him!!
situation like 1st odi 20-30 balls difference is acceptable. But the way Downee played was not at all in the favor of India and put too much pressure on Rohit. He was just trying to cement his place instead of winning. BCCI is also tied up because of the brands associated with Downee. He should gracefully retired as he was expecting same from Laxman, Dravid, Sehwag, Ganguly & Sachin.
Dhoni should have retired 2 years ago, I don\'t know in which way he is contributing apart from sharing his knowledge with the players on ground. We don\'t need a coach in our playing Xl. He is been very poor with bat & his strike is extremely poor. He plays to lose all the advantage which the other batsman gains. He is highly irritating to watch & he is an obstacle for India winning 2019 world cup
As on today is he the best keeper who can bat. We should explore and give fair chance to other available keeper and compare with them....playing 11 is not take it for granted...it should be performance based....
Dhoni has played enough, and he is no more a finisher as he used to be in the past. Reflexes have come down, he needs time to score. High time he leaves on his own, and Pant should become a regular in the one day and T20s.

Unfortunately we now have tradition of big names disgracing themselves before retiring. Dravid and Tendulkar were unfortunate landmarks of this and Dhoni will do the same!!!
