HE SHOULD RETIRE NOW AND IMMEDIATE EFFECT. IF HE IS THERE IN THE THIS WORLD CUP WE ARE NEVER GOING TO WIN. REST IS ASSURED. PLEASE RETIRE DHONI, WANT INDIA TO WIN THE WORLD CUP. YOU ARE WASTE CANDIDATE NOW. DON'T BE LIKE TENDULKAR TO GREEDY OF CRICKET. WE WANT PANT OR OTHER YOUNGSTER. PLEASE RETIRE. YOU TIME IS ALREADY UP NOW
At number 3 or 4 ideally....according to situation kohli and dhoni can exchange positions like how earlier happened with yuvraj and dhoni.....the need is to look for new finisher/s and at no 3 and 4 kohli and dhoni can both score big and play long innings

If Dhoni scores 50 odd in 90 odd deliveries like in last match, the opposition will be very pleased to let him bat!!!

Consider the score when he came to bat....we could not affird losing 1 more wicket....at lwast one end was to be secured and a partnership built...the situaton demanded the innings which dhoni played
As India has lost 1st one day , dhoni had been blamed far slow batting . but one should think he came at crease when team was almost collapsed , and the condition was to stay on crease , if the match was won all will praise rohit for his century but as it is lost by 34 runs , dhoni is held for that lost. The team has lost , while dhoni had tried his best , all the time we cannot critisise him for his batting , other factors are also three , we should cheer him for his fighting half century rather than blaming him

He should make way for pant.he had followed similar policy when he was captain. It high time he retires gracefully

In last three decades, I have seen very good batting lineups keeping the score maintained inspite of losing 3-4 quick wickets. In ODI, you have no right to leave deluge of dot balls in the name of holding the innings!!!

Dhonis days are over as a one day player. Let us accept that fact. Let him play in Tests if he is reluctant to retire.

Dhoni doesn't look confident while batting. He should look for quick singles initially and latter he can do big hitting. He is the best wicketkeeper in India.

It high time he should retire and pant replaces him. He has done similar thing with others when he was captain

He is playing for India for the past 14 years and it is high time for him to retire from one day cricket. He can play Test matches with this kind of slow batting. Kohili is competent enough to lead the one day squad for world cup and if someone thinks that Dhonis presence in the team can help win the world cup, it is foolisness. Why to give undue importance to World Cup selection. Need to take it casually.
