It seems always the batsmen who are letting the team down. Yesterday Kaleel Ahmed had no clue about the line and length. Add to that few catches were missed. The tail did not perform. Where is Mr Ravi Sastri who was speaking so much after the test match win. They did not appreciate the players like Bumrah, pujara and M Agarwal for their contribution but Keep on praising Virat Kholi. He did not contribute for any of the win. Once again, regroup and decide who is to bat and their responsibility. Player like DK should be counseled for a shot like that and helping the bowler. Let us play some good cricket.

As long as Dhoni was there India looked to be in the game. He was unfairly given out LBW we ball pitched outside leg stump. Please don't criticise for the sake of it.. But agree Pant should be in the team in place of Dinesh Kartick

With due respect to past services of MSD his body is no longer is ready to take twin jobs of WK nd batting .it's visible from the yesterday's innings . Any board is wise enough to give chance to shubman Gill nd Vijay Shankar .gone are days even @ 40 you can take load of playing .modern day game demands lot of fitness not only talent nd commitment .even Dhoni followed same principle during his hay days to Sehwag Yuvraj nd Saurabh Ganguly even Sachin

And the long sequence of winners
by piri on Jan 12, 2019 08:17 PM

of the toss winning the match continues......

4 tests and 1 one dayer so far.

Australia won 2 tosses and won both matches....rather by substantial margins.

India won 3 tosses, won 1 match by a substantial margin, squeaked through in 1 match and had a substantial upper hand in the third (which ended in a draw) !

Not much indeed to differentiate in cricketing acumen between this full strength India and this Australian B team !

And this trend of toss winners opting to bat first will go on !

Until one of the two teams is able to step a level higher and win despite losing the toss !

To day the bat of Virat Kholi failed to do the talking. He and the other opener and Ambati Raidu failed to start. This is what will happen when you don't pay attention to the practice before the start of the ODI. Now they must start the series with the cause for failure. MS Dhoni to bat at No 4 and A Raidu to bat at No 5 and DK to bat at No.6 or interchange with Jadeja. we are experimenting so many things' they can try this also. Idea is to win.

Wrong selection caused defeat

Dhoni and Khaleel selection were disastrous. Pant and Bhumra should have been played instead. Dhoni is proving he is aged and loosing strength.
