Good in sledging, good in humor overal a good package...thats Tim Pane. It is his way of doing it...take it easy way...not the harsh way of sledging with Murali Vijay, Kohili and Pant. Let us take it in the right spirit, not need to hate Tim Paine....he do not show an angry face for whatsoever reaons. Mrs. Paine also gave Pant a freindly gesture by calling him good baby sitter.
He is a nice guy. People always likes and credits performance. But there is always things far better than performance and that is how good you are as an individual in a situation and irrespective of who you are and what you do.Results does matters but always the results are not the same as the individual who plays has to manage the situation he is in makes the character out of it.
It seems the press conference was a pain in his neck n he made light of the situation by attending the call to relieve the stressful moment. Nice way to divert attention. Mobile manners needs to be redefined.

Hello listen to conversation, read the rediff report and then make a comment. It was not his phone. Some reporter Martin had left his phone on Paine's desk by oversight and it was a light hearted response by Paine to the caller. Paine knows manners may be better than you but he wanted to bring humour into press conference. Reporters enjoyed his humour.
He brought some cheer to an otherwise drab press conference. Good chap unlike the surly Indians who take umbrage against everything & then pass racist comments a la Harbhajan Singh.
