At least it prevents Kohli from making more selection blunders. He has given enough chances to Rohit, Dhawan and Rahul and the continued failures of these batsmen were the reasons for the bad overseas performances so far.

Kohli continues to bungle in selection. Yet another example of a good batsman and a poor captain. Any other captain would have immediately selected Bhuvaneswar Kumar if Ishant was not fit. In fact Bhuvi merited selection by itself. Umesh was unimpressive in the second test. Bhuvi swings the ball better and better as the match progesses. If Ashwin is not fit Jadeja should play - full stop.

India did win 1 test match in England and that was when they batted first and not second, pl check properly
the Indian team mentions just about everything except the most pertinent fact that gave it 2 victories - the toss !
And regardless of all the hype and pretenses, the Indian captain would be experiencing a heart stopping moment as the coin is tossed in Sydney tomorrow !!

So Australian pitches are one sided, win toss- win match. This allegation of unsporting pitches has been levied against Indian pitches for so many years- it should be taken as a reflection of poor state of Australian pitches rather than luck of Indian team. Anyone saying that Indian team won due to luck in the toss should also say the same things for all visiting teams to India who have won matches in the past

Indian teams have no say in making the pitches in Australia but the Australian team has. So with the current poor quality of players, the hosts are relying on winning the toss to win matches...sad!!!!!!
