We need to play an extra batsman. Ideally not KL Rahul because he has been a disaster, but since he is in the final 13, he should replace Rohit Sharma at No. 6.
Play Kuldeep Yadav instead of Umesh since Sydney will turn.
Let H Vihari and M Aggarwal can open the innings and KL Rahul can be slotted in the place of Rohit Sharma. In the place of Isant Shrama and the field is likely to favour the spinners, they can go with Kuldeep yadav and R Jadeja and the third spinner can be Vihari. But Vihari should be give more exposure. With two fast bowlers and two spinners, they can see the match through. only thing is once again the first five batsmen should put their head down and bat session by session, instead of playing unorthodox shots and get out at critical times. R pant and jadeja is also to chip in with patience and hold their temperament and bat according to the demand. All the best
Hope this time the team management will be wise enough and not repeat the mistake committed in Perth , as only a draw will be enough to clinch the series . Moreover, Rohit is unavailable and its better not to talk of Rahul's form
At least it prevents Kohli from making more selection blunders. He has given enough chances to Rohit, Dhawan and Rahul and the continued failures of these batsmen were the reasons for the bad overseas performances so far.

But Rahul in his place is equally bad and they have selected him in the final 13. If we go with 5 batsmen we will lose. So Rahul has to play. But he should be sent as No. 6 instead of opener because he is a disaster as an opener. Maybe with the old ball and tired attack he can perform better. Ideally Hardik Pandya or Parthiv Patel should have been chosen instead of Rahul in the final 13.
