The civilised world was appalled at the South African practice of Apartheid, where the black citizens were denied basic human rights on the basis of colour. The sporting nations were bound by Gleneagle's agreement to boycott SA. Some White nations ignored the agreement while playing golf tournaments in SA. Our call for boycott of Pakistan is a lone voice which may rebound on us, as we have already seen in the matter of Olympic shooting selection spots.
First,if nation is secured you can play any sport,you can organise any social event,abide by the Government in power,they will take decession what best for the country
Vinod rai's idea is impractical and almost impossible to implement. Has he actually done his ground work and leg work to get a consensus against Pakistan team ? Why would Australia , NZ or West Indies like to get embroiled in what is essentially a 2 nation dispute ? They will keep neutral and continue cricket ties because it suits them. Let's not deceive ourselves that other nations are simply dying to back us in boycotts.
The best way to deal with terror is to dry the funds that mobilizes it.Cricket boards world over,make money from the game. If Pakistan is disallowed to play then it will hurt them badly.Locals will resent their leaders and terror diplomacy.The best way is NOT to play with Pakistan in all sports-hockey and cricket included. No cultural programs films,etc.These measures will dry up their funds. India should also urge other countries to boycott PAK. It should warn walkout from any other future engagements with countries playing with PAK. ICC will listen to India if firmly dealt with. It cannot do without India. Whereas Pak is dispensable. On the other hand if we worry about 2 points then we are diluting our stand and insulting the brave who died for us.

TOday with many teams coming up with good players and performances, like WI, Sri lanka , even Afghanistan, what makes you feel that India is indispensable ? The others may decide that they don't want any part in a 2 nation dispute and continue playing with each other . Maybe with lower revenues . India may not be such a king pin in cricket. ANd that will destroy the careers of people like KOhli, BUmrah, Dhawan, Bhuvi, Pant etc who are just beginning to make a mark.
