SOunds like a senseless request from BCCI. How do we expect other distant nations like Australia, NZ, West Indies to take sides in a purely two way dispute. Pak always covers its tracks by suing proxies like JEM etc and even that is very difficult to prove. As Gavaskar pointed out, it is not the job of ICC to get into political / military disputes. That is the job of the UN and directives from the UN have to be followed. It is utterly immature of the BCCI to ask ICC to ban Pak and betrays the poor logic and thinking of Vinod Rai, who is held in such high esteem by so many people.
All the cricket playing nations shall unitedly stand together and pressurise ICC to permanently ban Paki from all types of cricket. No nation should entertain Pakis. They should be isolated from all over the world in all aspects - diplomatic, sports, food, import & export..etc. Where ever Pakis are working, that nation should send them bank to Pak to starve and die.

wishful thinking. Why would UK, West Indies Australia cut off sporting ties ? The Kashmir issue or terror is our problem and we have to deal with it. Asking others to join the bandwagon doesn't look like a huge nation, with a 5000 year history and the 5th largest economy. Why whine and ask others to do our work for us ?

About destroying all terror outfits in Pak / POK, we did destroy 4 during the surgical strikes , but another set of men were ready in 6 months , fully trained in terror. Of coursewe must keep knocking them now and then , but in full knowledge that it may not stop the terror groups permanently.That might need a permanent change in attitudes from their Army.
