The PM has received the crown prince of Saudi Arabia breaking protocol. The question is whether such action is justified or not will be known after we see any shift in Saudi Arabia's foreign policy in giving importance to India over Pakistan. Earlier the PM met Nawaz Sharif to greet him on his birthday, breaking protocol has not given benefit to us. When N.Sanjiv Reddy was President of India, he agreed to receive a memorandum from agitating Central Government Employees'delegation. On reaching the Rastrapati Bhawan, the delegates were informed that President of India's protocol does not permit to meet the labor leaders, hence they were asked to hand over the memorandum to the office of the President. Procol is decided to maintain dignity of a post and should not be broken for any short time gain as that may affect the country in future.
