Gambhir got the royal boot up his rear when he SRK kicked him out of the team. In my opinion he has been just an average player who did well for a short time but when he got found out at the international level his career ended. Also his bad on field behavior is the reason for him warming the bench. He was lucky to be KKR's captain but contributed precious little in winning the titles. A very over rated player who should have been a good water boy.
