It is unfortunate that out 130 crore population, Shastri is the only person, to be continued as Cricket Coach. Sastri's past result includes two failures in world cup tournaments. His ideas are rusted. It appears easy outings with Virat. Is it the only condition to be the Coach of India ? Even Kapil's team decision is unfortunate. When Mr Shastri or Virat will retire voluntarily?

OTHER COACH OR CAPTAIN EVER ACHIEVED IN HISTORY OF INDIAN CRICKET . WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT ??
See , few failures will always be there , let anybody be the coach OR captain . Team cannot win all matches ( 100 percent ) under any coach .
And again , it was pre decided that Shastri will continue as coach , but still there is a protocol to be followed . That's why BCCI went thru selection process / interviews etc - -
From the very beginning it was very clear, who is going to be the coach. It was totally waste of time and money for organising all this so called coach selection process and and all.
