DHONI IS NO LONGER A FINISHER WHICH HE WAS EARLIER. THE SELECTORS THINK TANK SHOULD HAVE A HAWK EYE ON THIS AS 2019 WC IS NOT FAR AWAY.

dh0ni was NEVER a finisher. He used to make a few runs when batsman like Sachin, Gambhir, Yuvraj and Kohli used to set a platform. He always used to PROMOTE himself when team was in good condition and target used to be in reach... he has not played even 15 brilliant knocks in 15 years when team REALLY STRUGGLED :)

@milind, that is what I have written, dh0ni promoted himself in WC 11 finals when entire platform was set by gambhir and Kohli... reqd rate was under 6, Sl not hvng agreat bowling attack, in form yuvi and raina to bat so he promoted himself after a FLOP_SHOW in entire WC 11...
same dh0ni didnt promote himself in WC 15 SF when team was 91/3 and reqd 238 runs in 32 overs, reqd rate was almost 8 and Aus hav a good bowling attack.. so that match was already lost, so he didnt PROMOTE himself and played slowly to complete his half century :)

To write is very easy.. To perform is not that easy. Definitely his time has come and he will give up one day. Celebrate the victory, at least for one day. We all deserve this.

Celebrate for what, could nt beat even Afganistan, struggled miserably even against Hongkong :)
more than half a billion (50 crores) avid followers in south Asian countries (India, Pak, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh).
And the fanatic enthusiasm for cricket keeps growing in these starkly poverty stricken and horrendously overpopulated (except Sri Lanka) and horrendously corrupt countries !
In all the other cricketing nations in the world, the number of such avid followers may together number just about a crore !
Yet, these south Asian countries by and large remain second or third best in cricket to the more traditional powers (England, Aus, SA) !
Which should point to, among other factors, the raxcial inferiority of south Asians in physique, athleticism and endurance !

@tim jin, this is what is problem with blInd_fAns like u who think dh0ni a great batsman where as he is a club_level_cricketer who cant bat even 10 overs outside ASIA... no wonder he couldnt score even a single century outside Asia in 15 years...
even bowlers like kumble/agarkar/ashwin and youngsters pandey/jadhav/pant too scored century OVERSEAS...
