The countries you have mention are providing very good infrastructure and people can afford.Not the case with India who are striving hard for three day meal.

You are right. You need little bit of affluence to cherish Bach, Beethoven or Bhimsen Joshi. The mass will go for Badshah or YoYo. Both can co-exist

sushil if you see properly,most of the developing or underdeveloped Asian countries watch and love cricket.ex India,pakistan,sri lanka,bangladesh,afghanistan,etc. call even west indies for a test in any part of the country and see how crowds will fill up.the most useless ipl has swelling crowds year after year.
