Irrespective of where he bats he still has to answer the question - How is he going to bat? Spinners will come in the moment he comes to bat irrespective of his position. He needs to cope with that. Until then his fans will continue to bang their seats (as the kid did in Dubai) and the critics will remind us that his best is over.

Unless senior players voluntairily retire, promising youngsters will not get a chance. DK, W.Saha, Pathiv Patil etc could not find a permanent place in Indian team because Dhoni was much superior to them and now all these three are aged 33 and their prime time in cricket is over. So the best one among the four got a permanent place in the team and Dhoni should be proud to have played for India for 15 years. Of late his batting form is deteriorated substantially even though he appears to be physically fit even now. I feel he should think of retiring so that promising players like Rishabh Pant will get a chance at the right time in his career. He has proven his batting abilities with a spledid century in England at the last test match. Still I dont understand why Dhoni opted out of Test matches, it should have been the other way round.
Yes Definitely Mahi is the most experience Batsman in our Current Team. He must need to play in Middle order for better score and other thing just like pressure
