Anderson overtakes McGrath as leading Test paceman

I just don't think Anderson is a legend. Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram were much better bowlers than him as they always use to keep pushing for wickets in Indian conditions and always use to deliver in almost all the pitches in the world. On the other hand, Anderson is a escape goat as he either gets injured before touring to India or delivers poorly on Indian pitches....So, he is no legend and just a hype created by British Media..

Agree. McGrath was a fearsome fast bowler, but not on the top of the list. Cant forget the great West Indian pace blowers in 1980s and some others like Dennis Lille, Jeff Thomson etc who were better than Glenn McGrath. Anderson is a work horse for England, but will not fit into the elite club of pace bowers.
