I don't think we need a coach necessarily from England or Australia. Irrespective of the nationality, at the moment the best coaches in the market are Gary Kirsten, Rahul Dravid, Shane Warne and Dev Whatmore. If India wants to hire a new Coach, it has to be one of these.

Shastri is the mostlethergic, luxary for Indian Cricket. He got the best team ever but his own contribution is nill except taking away crores of rupees.
For the present Indian team, U need a Coach from either Australia or an English coach not Shastri or anybody else, as the Team needs someone who can make understand overseas climate and the quality of Pitches. They are the best to judge the conditions well to guide the Team, but not Shastri . Hope BCCI sees the in and out of things and comes out with good coach for Indian team to reach great goals. Sad to see india is losing 1-4 test series in England.

The only thing he knows is - Keep blaming players for the non performance in overseas conditions. Shastri just doesn't prepare the team the way Gary Kirsten use to do. No idea about how to prepare the team, no idea about what approach to be followed by the bowlers/ batsmen and no idea whatsoever about the weaknesses of the opposition. Complete waste.

And still this man get eight crore rupees as remuneration without contributing anything. He salary is even higher than the Captain of Indian cricket team. However Indian cricket captain Kohli has huge income from advertisement and endorsements. His Bowling , fielding and batting coaches like Bharat Arun, R Sridhar, Sanjay bangar selected by him get two to three crores. If the services of this three coaches are taken as specialists in their field, what is the role and contribution of Ravi Shastri to the indian Team ? The previous coach Anil kumble\'s remuneration was abour 6.5 rore.

Ravi Shastri dont deserved to be a coach even of a school team. He was an ordinary spinner, the most boring batsman and a totally lousy fielder that a batsmen were easily taking run while the ball was in his hand at mid on or at long on. This man can not inspire any one and not atleast to the very young, experienced and successful Indian test players. He is getting his post, positionj and perks only because of his connection and chamchagiri at the top level in Indian Cricket board. Ohterwise, how a person can confidently declare that he will apply for the post of manger and coach only if he is sure of his selection.
Worst Coach of India have . He already given too much freedom to cricketer for that players do not concentrate in cricket . There mind is not working .
