like is said many times shastri is a very good coach and i will prefer him to kumble...

and the figures vindicate me...shastri has 8 away test wins as a coach...like i said kumble is just a flat track home bully coach...

we need good coach like shastri not a dictator like kumble...

Absolutely Rubbish & not acceptable statement . Shastri is damaging indian cricket , his coaching is very ordinary, & he is very indiscipline & only Bol bacchan ,He must be sacked/thrown out immediately from BCCI for Benefit of Indian cricket. Discipline Anil Kumble is our First choice.

Ravi Shastri has good man-manabgement skill
by Rajendra Bowrie on Sep 10, 2018 02:45 PM

To call Ravi Shastri a coach, and that to the national team, is rather misnomer. Frankly the India team does not need a coach, all they need is a person with good man-management skill. And in that respect, Ravi has been doing well. And he is pretty expert in knowing which side to butter the toast. Ravi’s most endearing quality is that he is always a loud mouth, who talks the language that pleases players, administrators and many of the common/lay men alike.

Kohli's politics exited the Analytical Kumble and Shastri was brought in place. He and Kohli are you scratch my back, I scratch yours terms. An absolutely useless coach who cannot even analyse a situation and guide. Getting rid of him and reining in Kohli's arrogance will be good for India,

Most of the time he sit alone in open space while the players sit together inside. Virat kohli wanted a yes man who can not question him and keep under control like Anil kumble did. And for such service , the cricket board is paying him seven crores plus all allowances and reimbursement and allow all the luxuries ? Is he deserve such remuneration for doing nothing ?

Shastri is as good a coach as Kohli as captain
by P.Prabhu on Sep 10, 2018 01:31 PM

Both are good at shielding their favourite players at all time. Shastri backs Shikhar and Rahane and Kohli backs Rahul and Hardik, no matter how bad they perform, even at the cost of series.

I doubt his technical capabilities but he may be a good motivator which stands good for a short period of time.

shastri was a very good test batsmen and his given batting tips to even virat kohli and removed his batting faults which virat kohli himself admits...the last time kohli was a complete failure in england...and he publicly acknowledge shastri's tips helped him

shastri was a very good player in his times...both in tests and odis and did well at home and away...we won benson and hedges one day trophy in australia because of him in 1985 and he was declared man of the series...did well both as a batsman and as a bowler and was called champion of champion...

shastri has 7 away test 100s, 1 in australia a double hundred, 2 in england 2 in pakistan and 2 in WI...

so critics you can burn all you want...

Veda, Shastri gave tipon batting to Kohli ? Let him first run atleast a round around the ground to qualifynfor a coach. Veda, the board is paying him to provide efficient service and not on the basis of his past performance. He is not entitled for a remuneration of about eight crores poer annum plus allowances on the basis of his past performance. he has to show his performance as Coach now.
