Dhoni's team did won a test series in England in 2007. The reality is England is Only good at home as they lost the 2016-17 test series in India by a Margin of 0-4 and was hardly competitive..On the other hand, India fought tooth and nails in each and every match and all the close games except one. This clearly shows India is a world class team and England is just good in their home conditions. And James Anderson always gets injured and decides to hide whenever England is about to tour India, even his record is very mediocre in Indian Soil.

It was not Dravid's team that won in 2007,not Dhoni's. And in between 2007 & 2016,ENG beat India in India ,2-1 and Anderson did bowl really well in the 3rd test to set up their victory.
I do agree this is one of the weakest ENG teams that we're visiting,so it pains more that we're not able to beat this side.This is the best chance we had.

Completely agree with you. England lost a 2016-17 test series to India 0-4 and people seem to have forgotten about it.

ENG is not such a strong team that it used to be maybe 5 years back.So,it pains more to see us losing to this side.Lost a very good chance.
