A quick check on Wikipedia shows that Cook has scored 5 centuries against Australia, 2 against Bangladesh, 6 against India, 3 against New Zealand, 5 against Pakistan, 2 against South Africa, 3 against Sri Lanka and 6 against West Indies totally 32 centuries in test cricket. To trash him as an average player outside England is totally unfair. His Away centuries are 17 in number.
What a rubbish news....We are just not interested in knowing whether he cried or laughed while announcing his retirement. He was lucky that he played for England and not for Australia/ India which is why he got away for so long. He can only score fluently in England and everywhere else a very average batsman.
