India should be ripped off the no 1 spot in test cricket. They lost to SA in SA and now Eng in Eng. They do not perform well in tough conditions and they should not deserve to be no 1 in test cricket.
NOthing more matters than resilience, be it T20, 50 overs or Test. Sam Curran showed how to handle pressure and score in lower order. For India, If anybody who can play like that in lower order after Dhoni, I strongly feel Krunal Pandya should be in first place. He has all the technique, mental toughness and he is a good bowler too. Irony is that his brother is getting chances every time despite poor show
Whom to blame Selectors, Shastri ,Virat as a captain,batsmen or bowlers . . . All so called in form & experienced players failed. Batsmen in form in India totally failed in English conditions. I remember the old saying " A good batsmen/bowler can perform well in any condition "
It means what. . . our team is not upto the mark of International standard . . . whatever may be the reason/excuse one may give or rating they get. The end result counts. Now atleast give other players sitting on bench a chance to show their mettle.
