Its is surprising, England's last 5 batman made the job tough for India, we were unable to take wickets after fantastic start.

I feel, though I am not expert, Batsman were too defensive and most of our players like Rahul, Dhawan, Kohli, Pandya cannot play defensive games. Probably, attack, would have proved better.

Any way, its fun to see all matches are resulted.

Wridhiman Saha was the best in test cricket. Has a very strong defense and is a proper test cricketer.

Acks killer instinct
by mansoor baig on Sep 03, 2018 11:20 AM

We have ones again proved that we lack the killer instinct, the team is completely dependent on star players. We are good only in subcontinents and the rest is history.

no homework

I think
1.no homework before starting of the game.
2.lack of killer instinct, after picking 6 wickets India should have moulded England within 120
3. India were 142/2 in 1st Inng.from there why 195/8
that is why block salary of coach Ravi Shastri, spoiling public money kick him out

Coach--Need to be changed immediately & India should have one aggressive manager like Ganguly. Better that Virat Kholi should step down as captain. We already lost him as captain, I am afraid that we should not loose him as a batsman. Yesterday Rahaney,s batting was horrible. He cant expect English bowler will give him full toss for hitting boundary. Such a negative batting. This batting line up could not replace Snewag, Sachin, Dravid, Laxman & Ganguly. Gavaskar is far matter for them. Neither can play swing nor spin ball. Very sad. All are deposed.

playing 11

Root cause analysis by an Indian cricket lover
1) Shikhar Dhawan - Very poor against swinging ball. Can only survive in low docile track. Immediate replacement required.
2) KL Rahul- No feet movement .Hand eye co ordination only without skills of sehwag. He should go back and play IPL & domestic cricket.
3) Pujara - good technique but inconsistent. Plays from crease at beginning of innings .Candidate for LBW & getting bowled. But has to be persisted with
4) KOhli- good allround player but needs support. Indulges in nepotism with the aid of his henchman Shastri thereby omitting quality squad from the team
5)Rahane- Good player and team man but needs consistency
6)Hardik Pandya- Hes a 20 20 payer. He neither has the technique nor temperment for test match in overseas condition. On top of that he has a bagfull of arrogance. To be dropped immediately and replaced with a batsman or bowler depending on playing condition. 7) Pant- Work in progress . Saha is miles ahead and to be reinducted after recovery from his surgery. 8) Ashwin- Flop show overseas. Hiding injury and playing. Kuldeep yadav to be persisted with or if consistency is required Jadega to be played 9) Ishant - As per potential 10) Shami- Erratic-Not consistent enough leaks runs at critical juncture. To be replaced by Bhuvi if fit. Mavi and Nagarkoti to be given a chance 11) Bumrah- lone bright spot.Good talent has to be nurtured
