Shame on our home tigers

Who can't even beat WI team without their top players like Gayle, Evin Lewis, Pollard, Narine, Russel. Imagine the thrashing this so called best team of 15-20 years would have had , if WI played their full team!! Is that drunkard listening?

After being mauled in the series, WI has really bounced back.

Worst team ever

Indian player having lack of killer instinct, these player drop their sword in many occasion. In England they lost the test series by narrow margin which they can easily make it 3to 1 instead of 1 to 3.

West Indies cannot keep the winning spree
by Jayaprakash Balan on Oct 28, 2018 07:58 PM

Though in the 3rd ODI WI played well and hence deserved to win, which has given excitement to the series, the WI team has yet to rise to the level of India because certainly they lack strategy, excitement and energy to win any match. Losing one match doesn't even count on India's performance or winning spree and in fact it is good that they lost 1 match so Virat and team will come back with a venom and straight away win the next two ODIs in a huge way. WI still do not have a bowler of calibre who can surely either stop free flow of runs or gurantee to take wickets. They rely on the mistake of Indian batsman and do not have the ability to put pressure on Indian batsman by tight bowling or fielding like the Indians do. And ODIs are not won only with batting. Again WI openers are very poor and never gives WI the rousing start which every team requires and which India has always been getting from the likes of Rohit, Virat etc. Anyway, good to see WI improved a little from earlier but Holder is not at all an aggressive captain and if one team's coach and captain is not aggressive they can never win matches on their own skills, they will have to be dependent on opponent's bad day to win matches which has happened with all of India's opponents lately since past 3 - 4 years. Thats the reason even ODIs are slowly losing its charm.

Team with balance
by ANIL SINGH on Oct 28, 2018 07:38 PM  | Hide replies

Rohit Sharma(vice-captain), Shikhar Dhawan,
Virat Kohli(captain),Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav, Rishabh Pant(wicketkeeper), Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah.

Infact I would have ashwin for chahal to make batting even more formidable. This way batting becomes formidable witth bhuvi at nine. Also in bowling we have 6 options. Not sure why ashwin is completely ignored by selectors/kohli.

(else hardik for one of ashwin or jaddu but he is injured)

Also why not let KL Rahul or parthiv shaw open and Rahit move to no.4 as he is falling early 3 out of 4 times in opening.

In one day format we require very smart fielders in the team. Ashwin may be a good bowler in Tests but don't think he will be a success in ODI. He is a very slow mover in the field hence West Indies might take advantage of his poor fielding.

Yes, West Indies will score all there 300 runs due to ONLY Ashwin's poor fielding.

Dont ignore Jadeja

Jadeja is the most ideal all rounder India needs. He saves 30 runs takes wickets and scores runs when needed. India lost because they excluded Jadeja

I am inclined to agree.
Incidentally, Sanjay Manjrekar is the worst commentator. So boring and disgusting.

NO NEED TO MAKE A BIG ISSUE OUT OF JUST ONE DEFEAT
by Shilpa Mehta on Oct 28, 2018 04:20 PM

Both Rayudu & Pant are excellent batsman but

failed yesterday .

Unfortunately MSD also could not score .

But NO NEED to make a big issue out of this defeat . TEAM INDIA HAS LOST JUST ONE GAME AFTER WINNING NINE IN A ROW SINCE ASIA CUP .

And NO NEED to make much changes in the team .

Same combination has won many games for Team India.

MSD IS STILL THE BEST . Soon he will be back in form .

No team can win 100 % game it plays .
