Well, when you pick up Kartik & Patel for experience, why not MSD??? We tend to forget that he has an average which is better than some of the leading batsmen world over. Think how he made few young bowlers really effective: Bumrah, other guy who was dropped for not being fit & re-selected... It is a power shift taking shape..

LEGEND, who has been an AGENT for bootlickers :D He has always backed players who used to be his sycophants irrespective of their performances like erstwhile Raina, Jaddu, Ashwin. Whoever has shown difference of opinion to this AGENT, has been kicked out of cricket like Robin, Pathan Brothers, Sehwag, Tiwari, and many-many more. Dhoni's always followed favoritism :)
we know in wc 2007, aging and out of form players were selected read ganguli,dravid, we were knocked out in 1st round. same result awaits if dhoni plays. he lost his batting. Pant and Rahul should be played in his place.

Pity to see that such people are 'evaluating' Dhoni and questioning his 'legend' status :) About reflexes - plz keep urself updated with the behind-the-wicket heroics which is getting better day-by-day.
I believe you guys must have seen his presence at the ground just as a 'batsman', ryt? Grow up guys. Be fair - he is one 'Complete player' :)
(P.S: The author used 'dropped' word for Dhoni and 'rested' for Virat) - Did u guys ponder upon?

MSD is dropped, dropped, and dropped !! He should also be dropped from ODI. Undoubtedly he has contributed a lot, but his time's up now :) He has been reason for many match-losses in last 1 year or so. Better pave the way for a young gun.

true. even if legand, richards in not continuing forever nor akram is continuing. They know their time is up, when performance dips

Yes. This is the right decision. No doubt he has given lots to Indian Cricket but due to the aging his reflexes are not up to the mark. country come first and then individual. Congrats BCCI for the timely and right decision.

I beg to differ sir. Even today, Dhoni's reflexes as Wicket Keeper is extremely high and the best in the World cricket. No one can match. BCCI to decide, they are looking for a WK or a Batsman!! WK wise, we have already seen the efficacy of Mr Pant - no doubt youngster but..... is it required to "announce" Dhoni dropped????

Not only rediff but every newspaper writes that he is dr0pped and this is TRUE whether u accept or not :)
The selectors have done the correct thing in dropping Dhoni. In fact he should be dropped from one day game as well .He has done enough for the country.Now it is his duty to pave way for the youngsters.

True.. he seems to have lost batting touch n eye sight.. age n eyesight affects batting n wicket keeping...
