Definitely it was a great performance by Hope which made Windies get a chance and ray of hope of winning the match. But frankly and definitely, cricket today has changed so much that just one man's performance can never change the fate of the match and it clearly showed that Hope didn't get any matured support from his team mates especially in the last few overs. One day is such a game where things can change in the last 10 overs and it is that side which plays the last 10 overs excellently either by batting or bowling or fielding that decides the fate of match. Definitely for Windies its a great sign that they are getting two good and strong batsman like Hope and Hetymar performing and growing consistently, but hope the consistency remains and they turn out to be couple of world's best batmen in the likes of Lara and earlier Windies batsman, but for that these two players need to learn patience and improve their technical abilities without which no player can become world's best batsman. But their main worry is the bowling, no single bowler looks to be growing and effective except Holder. And cricket though is a batsman's game, today's cricket is not just a batsman's game. Its a bowlers and fielders game too. Basically overall team effort is required with each player chipping in and then team has some star batsman and bowlers. This is why India has been so successful in recent years.
