Pruthvi shaw has a long way to go before he can be a ODI opener. Rohit, Dhawan are one of the legendary opening pairs and it will be sometime before they can be stopped.
Henceforth Pant should be in the playing 11 of ODIs not essentially as a wicket keeper batsman, but as a batsman. As Mr. Kirmani pointed out, Pant should a lot of improvement in his wickect keeping and he should not hesistate to be in touch with Mr. Kirmani for advices if BCCI permits. Just take his verbal guidance if not a a coach.

why rrd?let him make some useless records against minnows atleast.as such his strike rate is so horrendous
