Test cricket as such has no draw
by Jayaprakash Balan on Oct 04, 2018 03:30 PM

Its a great thing if Rajkot stadium has been able to sell 10% of their tickets because as such test cricket is a dying thing simply because in today's fast world, nobody is foolish or has time to watch someone play on the ground that too those who earn and well and cannot give anything in return to the spectators. Atleast if the world had some great players like yesteryears playing against India there would have been some fun in spending some time of the day watching their game. But alas except for India and Indian players nobody in the game of cricket world seem to be knowing to play cricket at its best. All are just playing because they are selected to play for the country and they have to play and above all they get very good money to play. Except for Indian players no player in the world is worth today to be seen spending time and money. Neither does 5-day cricket excite like the latest series against England. Even that was exciting not because of players, but somehow results were coming in. Though full credit to Virat, Rohit and all our Indian players, there is no much charm in their making records they all are playing at such a time when they are in total master form and the opponents are not even playing the level of local gully cricket. Wondering why even India is playing against West Indies, such a hopeless team and players. Such team kills the spirit of the game.
