Not a good coach.
by prabirb on Nov 30, 2018 03:54 AM  | Hide replies

As per coach the team comes first then Mitahli's inclusion in Indian team was very much necessary as it would have made the team stronger. Regarding misunderstanding or misconduct of Mithali as stated by the coach should have been sorted out by the coach that was his duty too.

Is this fatty Ramesh Powar is fit to train even a school team ? What is the achievement of this ordinary spinner to Indian cricket ? This man acted only as a messenger of the board official and carry out instruction of that board official to drop Mitali from Semi final inspite of her good performance. The mad parsi Diana Edulji do not deserve any comment for her behaviour and should be booted out from her position.

SACK THE COACH
by pradeep pawar on Nov 29, 2018 10:34 PM  | Hide replies

The coach and the team management should always put the team and the country first. They should not act as puppets of those controlling them from BCCI. Here I feel the coach has not been able to justify his decision of sacking a experienced player like Mithali and so he should gracefully put up his paper's. It will be indeed shameful rather a shameless act if he vies for the same post again. If he is selected for the same post again then it will be crystal clear that he is backed by a very strong person/s in BCCI.

Coach creating politics in the team is not acceptable. We need good players who are in good form.

Though no one is indispensable, a coach is not fit to be a coach if he can not unite the team. Mithali has played long and it is showing in her reflexes and running, which may not suit limited over cricket.
Need a Dravid for Indian women cricket.

Ramesh Powar Coach
by b g on Nov 29, 2018 07:53 PM

I think the coach is playing more games than the team players. When people consider their country to win the cup with the best players and their minds on the game. Here the captain and the coach are thinking into a totally different area. I think we must look for a good lady coach then this Powar who seems to have bitten too much than he can chew.

Country first
by b g on Nov 29, 2018 04:31 PM  | Hide replies

Well it is not for the coach to decide on who has an attitude problem or other soft skills. It can be brought soon as the player begins to mature. Mitali Raj was and is a match. I don't understand why coach put themselves before the country >

Every great player show some attitude and people should not mind it till they perform well. The selection should be on the merit of them as a player and not on the basis of their attitude. Why board is not bothered about the attitude of the coach and the manager they appoint without in merit ?

mithali is going overboard
by Dhantannan on Nov 29, 2018 03:26 PM  | Hide replies

with her statements.
She may have been hurt.
but it started with manager accusing Harmanpreet
now mithali accusing Pawar.
Mithali accept defeat gracefully dont try to gain sympathy for leaving you out in semis.
You cannot compete with likes of Smriti and Harman in t20 atleast.

You have nothing to say about behaviour of Powar ? what is his contribution to indian cricket as an ordinary spinner ? Do he deserved to be a coach even of a school team ? Why you ignore performance of Mithali in the same tournament ? was her exclusion justified ?
