Cricket is purely a "Gentleman'S" game. Cricket is all abt power Play. Men's cricket is a different ball game altogether. Larger boundary line, extreme pace attack with numerous variations, Massive power hitting, at times sledging. larger than life fielding abilities, unthinkable catches, accurate hits to stumps 4m quite a distance,leading batsmen to run-out. Men's game all d way is Power, Power, Power. The Opp Gender's game falls short by miles, Power Play is like, totally absent. Other top qualities expected r also absent in women's game. Women's Game is not a money spinner, the collections r poor. None including women r dis-interested in women's cricket.They fail 2 link with bollywood i.e co's shortage of money. Hence No commercials to them. Commercials is a money spinner to Man who does D ad (only men get AD).add-on's r Name, Fame everything

People's mindset towards women yet to change

However, we say that India is progressed and developed and however we may show in ad about women stars photographs splashed all over in news and channels about their sheer hardwork and efforts fighting against all odds, those will never become an inspiration even for women because our Indian mindset is like that. 80% of women in India either way do not follow sports passionately and even out of those 80% women almost 99% would follow and be inspired by the male sports superstars than women stars, though we all might appreciate and see the games of so many our great women sports stars, but except a few who has got coverage among the news alongwith glam stars, people would not even know the names of others sports women. Same goes with business and advertisement. This sector except for few advertisements will never recognise or pay heavily to these women stars. So, it will always be like that unless a massive mentality change doesn't come in Indians especially women which will never come atleast in a decade. All said, everything has become so business oriented now that celebrities have even taken away the bread and butter of models, else ideally advertisement is a field for models and others should not come however famous you are.

Ads endorsements for Women Cricketeers

I have seen Mithali's ad endorsing diamond jewellery. I think this is her first ad. She looks good apart from the India blue jersey.

They are endorsing for ads now but I believe they can outperform men in ads if they go on to win a world cup.
