Steve has spoken truth. The TEAMS we had 15 years ago were the best TEAMS ever in Cricket History.

Ravi Sastri should stop boasting
by Manohar Rao on Nov 15, 2018 05:57 PM

He gave similar statement before the tour of England and everybody knows what happened there. Actually, Indian team get into holiday mood whenever they go for tours and loose their concentration on cricket.

Dear STEVE WAUGHji,

You Aussies Are Known Drunkards. So You Should Know That When A Drunkard Talks, He's Not In His Senses.

So, Don't Take Shastri_Maamu's Comments Seriously.

Not a best side
by vikas giya on Nov 15, 2018 01:48 PM

Look at the bowlers 10 years back. Glen Macgrath, Shane Warne, Donald, pollack, Wasim, Waqar, Ambros, Walsh, Dale styen (when he was young). I don't think any of world bowler can match their legacy. Even in England Sam Curran destroyed india, who is not even 10% of wasim akram., No doubt indian team is strong not because they are strong but other teams are weak.

Its simple envyness of Waugh
by Jayaprakash Balan on Nov 15, 2018 11:45 AM  | Hide replies

Its simple typical envyness of Steve Waugh not acknowledge that India is the best team in the world today and probably never was India team so spirited and unified to win every match. And even otherwise Steve has no right to comment on Indian team while his own nation's team is in very bad shape and ready to lose hopelessly. Its the typical Australian mentality to envy others who are good since Australia has lost the mantle of being king of cricket. He will have to acknowledge and know the Indian talent when his team loses most of the matches of all 3 formats. He should rather be concentrating on developing his own team players voluntarily to face the Indian team. And Steve and all Australians should be ashamed that their star players are banned for unwanted things and not following the oath they had taken while starting their cricket career to be honest to the game at any cost.

This Indian team is certainly not the best test cricket side if we consider Australian environment. We have just seen this in England. Playing in Indian condition is something & playing in conditions having lots for fast bowlers would be something. Lets not be motional. We know & understand techniques of current batting side against quick & rising deliveries.

Probably you are correct but the statistics is against the Indian team in winning on foreign soil...reocollect SA tour and England tour...........Winning the first test in Australia is the best thing to happen but historically India always loses the first test in whatever situation.....If RS and VK can avoid losing first test then Indian can do well not sure if they can win the series in Australia
