To gain upperhand in a match, often sledging is resorted to. Calling by Name/s is part of sledging where it reduces d morale of D player, does some mistake & gets Out. There is no big deal. If emotions r kept under control. Sledging on it's own can't damage player's nerves.
I think calling names is not a healthy sign of a gentleman's game. It needs more maturity and players need to respect the opposition team. Apart from this mudslinging has been prevalent from the Australian side.
The umpires and Australian team ensured that India was defeated. I would rate that Indian team a great side. The result should have been in India's favor 2-1. Indian team had great players like Sehwag, Sachin, Ganguly, Laxman, Dravid and good bowling attack - Ishant, R.P Sing, Irfan, Anil.
