Virat Kohli should step down immediately like Gautam Gambir
by Ramanarao Kallepally on May 10, 2018 03:56 PM  | Hide replies

Now, the time has come for Virat Kohli to take retirement from the cricket field or step down from the captaincy like former cricket player Gautam Gambir did recently and taken decision morally to step down from the KKR captaincy to keep his moral high in the cricket field, even he has denied to accept the IPL payment and would like to return them which has been declared by him through media and newspapers. This is called the sportsman spirit. Only money is not the criteria in cricket field - one should have its ability, sincerity, honesty to play cricket for his country whether it may be IPL, or any other matches in India or abroad to keep the prestige.

GG was forced to step down from captaincy, it was only presented like he himself take call to step down, moreover his individual performance was below satisfication, on ohther hand Kholi was leading in runs in the runs and he is race for Orange cap .

Poor team selection
by venugopal koka on May 08, 2018 04:44 PM

Apart from his repeated failure to lead the team to success, he should also accept responsibility for the poor team selection. Too much money was probably spent on spent on him and ABD and the team was filled with left overs. It is high time he stepped down but very unlikely as his position as India captain will also be up for questioning. Rahane has already proved to be a cooler captain for tests and Dhoni probably is a better bet for the WC.

Not a good captain

Virat never impressed us as a captain. He needs a cool head and thinking mind. he looks still childish, showing excitement on small things rather than behaving maturity

20:20 is business first and business last.

Why bother about win or loss when the game entertains the viewers having no stake at all. It is business oriented game for investors and rare opportunity to make fast buck for players. Enjoy the shots and thrills of dangerous catches.

Scripted ?

Usually this type of articles don't matter. The team owners will come out in strong support of Captain with a statement that "they have full faith in Virat's leadership..." and then the Captain will bounce back to prove his crtics wrong...everything is predictable...

Immature comments...

Very immature comments by most.....only fools compare IPL with int. cricket.....secondly it's history that indians quickly come to a conclusion that.."he should step down"....Virat is one of the best captain we have today...only and only Virat's captancy can win matches on int. grounds... his aggression is the most beautiful part the current generation has learnt....think..think..

Virat must curb down his arrogance. This is what cost us the CT final.
