A VERY BIG KKR WIN FOR MAKING IT TO THE PLAY-OFFs
by damodaran mohan on May 04, 2018 01:37 PM

Let there be no doubt that for KKR it is a very big win against general expectations of CSK as big favorites before the match. Now KKR can aspire for the playoffs confidently.Promotion of Gill did the trick and Karthik must be complimented for it besides he himself playing a match winning knock.Gill is the latest new find and looks the next Virat Kohli in succession the way copy book Gavaskar like shots he executes which we saw in the U-19 WC too!Once Nitish Rana is back and with Sunil Narin excelling in his all-round performance besides Andre Russle's pyrotechnics towards the end KKR too is emerging a very strong batting side.On the bowling front the 3 spinners already evoke respect and fear from opposition. Although the other U-19 hero Navi is coming up well but pace attack overall does look weak. But Johnson must be put in the first available flight back to his country if Karthik wants to make it to the last four.Coming to CSK, overconfidence seems to be their undoing the way Dhoni is making uncharacteristic whole sole changes! Why change Watson-Rayudu opening combo, the next best opening pair after Gayle-Rahul of IPL-11 or change Imran Tahir who has been turning the game for CSK in the middle overs !

Dhoni upto something fishy
Why did Jadeja come before Bravo and Billings?
Jadeja had not performed as a batsman for a long time now.
Also, when Jadeja dropped second catch, you should watch Watson's reaction. He was happy about the drop... something fishy about the match

yeah, It looked like Jadeja Intentionally dropped catches. especially first catch when he opened his hands when ball was still in his hands.

Dhoni was always a cunning person. Remember Gurunath episode?
