He has cheated and got punished for it. There is no need to show sympathy to repeat offenders. Aussies just want to win by hook or crook, they have no gamesmanship and are the worst sledgers. As far as sledging is considered they are getting their own dose as other teams are also not afraid to sledge them now. They intimidate the on field Umpires and force them to take decision to their favor, thanks to DRS, they are no more in a position to intimidate. Aussies feel as if their wings have been clipped and hence they are now resorting to unfair means to win a game. I hope the ban is not only a lesson to them but to other teams too, especially Pak team, who device new methods for the ball to reverse.
Imran Khan cheated for years with softdrink bottle caps and all kinds of methods and was the main reason why pakistan won so many matches. He remained a coward never owned up to any cheating. He is the biggest cheat in Cricket till date.
Ha....what hypocrisy! When our own Azhar, Jadeja etc were banned for match fixing no one stood up for them, why are they licking the heels of these cheaters then? They have cheated and they must pay for it! They should be banned for life and given an equal measure of justice!

Azhar was a CHEAT who never had the guts to stand up and admit. He is a coward and living on cheat money. Thats why no tears for him only shoes.
Everything is a drama. High amounts of money is being exchanged. In a few days the bans will be overturned. The ICC and CA are scratching each others backs.
Smith might be a good guy inside but the desperation to win every game has cost australia as well as Smith. Winning is a good habit but by fair means and because of supremacy they have lost control over themselves. Hope other player learn something from this episode. Treat this game as a game not a war.
