When you clearly know the consequences of doing a wrong thing and will feel devastated if caught, why make such choices in the first place. If nothing of it goes un-noticed you still will be a champion and leader of immpeccable integrity. It is this public fall from grace that it makes even more sinful. To come back as a player after 12 months will be easy but not as a graceful ambassador of fans. You will be a dubious player lifelong and will not be a front runner anymore.

Gambhir's sympathies
by Sudarshan Nityananda on Mar 30, 2018 06:40 AM  | Hide replies

Gambhir seems to have too much sympathy for the Aussie players. One year ban is not much and they can rebuild their careers after that. When Amer at age 18 was banned for 5 years and Rabada for 2 tests , why didn't we hear any sounds from Gambhir. Is it because Gambhir's sympathies lie with Aussie players ?

Gambhir is absolutely right. He is only having the guts to speak up when all others are quite. When Sachin,Dravid,Du plessis all are in to the doubts of ball tampering/changing conditions,, nothing happens. When he accepted his mistake, all are behind him and given a one year ban which is too harsh. He is one of the finest batsmen in this era and TOP of the world now. And very aggressive and verbal as Kohili. I am sure and confident that Kohili must feel bad to face australian test team series in few months with out these fantastic players. As a person he would like to compete with the best team. Let us wait for his opinion. I am sure all the real cricket fans and players must shocked to hear a one year ban for them. This is happend only due to some over reacted people and few people drama behind the scene like Gambhir observed....

Mr.Sudarshan

I hope you can understand engligh if not I cant help you

What I said is even great people like Sachin/Dravid also comes in to the doubts of ball tampering / changing conditions for which they questioned. Due to the non availability of proof, nothing happened. Like all Indian cricket fan, I too respect and value sachin/Dravid.

In my earlier feedback I questioned only the 1 year ban which is too harsh. Gambhir was obviously right
